“[T]his is going to happen that Sayyidina (our master) Isa (the Muslim Jesus) a.s. (peace be upon him) will come back as we know, because (“And it is true knowledge”) he is the sign of the end of times (“And indeed, it is true knowledge, so do not deny it, but follow it in a straight path.”). So Allah (s.w.t. “most glorified, most high”) will send Him (Isa) as the follower of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w, Muhammad, “peace be upon him”). He (Isa) will not return as a prophet but as a follower of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) and that is the reason that he will pray behind Imam al-Mahdi. He will pray behind the Imam as the follower of this ummah, he will pray behind him, and he will be a proof that he is not the son of God for Christians. And the Christians at that time will recognize that he is Isa, he is the true (i.e., Muslim) Jesus and They (Christians) will believe in him, and they will become Muslims. This is all mentioned in the Hadith (traditions of Muhammad) so there is no doubt that this will happen.”
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Messenger said, “The Hour will not be established until the son of Mary (i.e. Isa, the Muslim Jesus) descends amongst you as a just (Muslim) ruler, he will break the cross, kill the pigs, and abolish the Jizya (poll tax, per Qur’an 9:29).”

Chapter : The descent of Jesus son of Mary, and he will judge according to the Sharia of our Apostle, Muhammad. “It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger or Allah (may peace be upon him) observed: ‘I swear by Allah that the son of Mary will certainly descend as a just judge and he would definitely break the cross, and kill swine and abolish Jizya’”

” ‘Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His messenger have forbidden-who do not practice the religion of truth (Islam), being of those who have been given the Book (Jews and Christians)-until they pay the poll tax out of hand and are humbled,’ (Qur’an 9.29), the time and place for which is before the final descent of Jesus (upon whom be peace). After his final coming, nothing but Islam will be accepted from them, for taking the poll tax is only effective until Jesus’ descent, which is the divinely revealed law of Muhammad. The coming of Jesus does not entail a separate divinely revealed law, for he will rule by the law of Muhammad. As for the Prophet’s saying, “I am the last, there will be no prophet after me,” this does not contradict the final coming of Jesus (upon whom be peace), since he will not rule according to the Gospels, but as a follower of our Prophet.”
