The event is free and open to the public, & will begin with complimentary light refreshments (fresh baked goods & coffee), and conclude with questions and answers.
Andrew Bostom, MD, MS, will introduce the afternoon program, & his background as a clinician, and an academic epidemiologist & clinical trialist for over 40-years, including 24-years as faculty at the Brown University Medical School. Dr. Bostom will review raw data, observational studies, & randomized controlled trials germane to the covid-19 response in Rhode Island. Specifically, he will highlight:
- the very short-term/real-time failure of the nationally televised Rhode Island “Covid-19 Hospitalization Models” of April 16, 2020, & the implications of that failure
- the successful Swedish counter example, i.e., no lockdowns, no primary school closures, no mask mandates, etc.
- how Rhode Island public health officials ignored covid-19’s extreme risk variation by age & comorbidity, including an explanation of the covid-19 “infection fatality rate”
- how Rhode Island public health officials further the ignored uniformly negative Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) data on community masking for prevention of respiratory virus infections (both before, & since the covid-19 pandemic), ignored naturally acquired immunity to SARS-CoV-2, & ignored covid-19 vaccine risk/benefit assessment
Dr. Bostom’s closing comments will reflect on the contrasting legacies of Dr. D.A. Henderson & Dr. Trofim Lysenko, as mirrored by the Rhode Island pandemic response.
Colleen Kelly, MD, a Brown University Medical School gastroenterologist, will provide her eyewitness account of geriatric care issues that arose during the pandemic.
Richard Southwell will discuss the ongoing Southwell v. McKee mask mandate litigation, and its lingering implications.
Steven Skoly, DMD will discuss his continuing litigation after the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) closed his practice for 5-months upon Dr. Skoly’s refusal to get covid-19 vaccinated given his own natural immunity, & history of vaccine injury.
Brittany DiOrio, a gifted young special education teacher, will briefly discuss her travails after being fired by the Barrington School district for refusing to get covid-19 vaccinated.
Gregory Piccirilli, Esq, will provide an overview of the myriad covid-19-related legal cases he has become involved with
Malcolm Najarian, owner of the Café Bon Ami, Malcolm will briefly discuss his interactions with RIDOH etc., officials during the pandemic offering the perspective of an independent entrepreneur.
RI State Rep. & Minority Leader, Michael Chippendale will share his unique experiences as a legislator trying to exercise oversight of the State’s pandemic response, & summarize recent bills he has introduced pertaining to covid-19 vaccination.
Pat Ford of The Coalition Network will share his insights gleaned from providing interviews on, & live coverage of, important covid-19 related matters in Rhode Island the local “mainstream media” either refused to cover, or barely “covered” in a flimsy, & unbalanced manner.
